Hah! Bum Hug! – Black Christmas Mug

Hah! Bum Hug! began with a family phrase and became a Christmas tradition in paint.

My dad was an avid coffee drinker—and the family’s wannabe Scrooge. Around Christmas, he would get it all twisted and say “Ha, bum hug” in his best growly voice, a phrase that became a source of family laughter and eventually inspired this painting.
